Teacher’s Day
In Thailand, Khroo (Teacher) is an important person for everyone. When 16th of January comes, we normally remember our dear teachers and pay respect in a special way as a sign of gratitude.
On 16 this year, the Principal of the Ranongthani Burmese Learning Center, organized a ceremony to show respect and gratitude to the teachers. During the ceremony, the students held flowers in their hands and, in turn, used a small bowl to pour water on the teachers’ hands. While pouring the water, the students asked for a blessing from the teachers and bow with respect.
After the ceremony, the teachers had lunch together.
